3DChimera to Showcase Dyeformer at Formnext in Frankfurt

3DChimera to Showcase Dyeformer at Formnext in Frankfurt

November 10, 2022—Miami, Fla.—

3DChimera will showcase their newest product, the Dyeformer, at this year’s Formnext event in Frankfurt, Germany. A fully functioning system can be seen at their booth in the USA Pavilion, Hall 11, Stand B51B.

September’s release of the Dyeformer closed a gap in the market for an accessible, affordable, and consistent method to dye traditionally white or gray powder bed fusion 3D printed Nylon PA12 parts.

Following years of development and refinement, the 3DChimera Dyeformer is now available to purchase. Compared to similar set-ups, its $4,499 USD price tag is significantly lower than the competition, who sell machines ranging from $15,000 - $60,000 USD. “The Dyeformer was designed to take the guesswork out of dyeing parts. We are able to guarantee that results are consistent and repeatable every time”, shared 3DChimera owner, Alex Hussain.

This new system comes fully equipped with everything needed to start dyeing Nylon PA12 parts and the dye solution can be reused for up to 30 days. Currently the custom dye is available in black, with more colors in beta-stage testing with plans to release in early 2023.

With this foray into the European market, 3DChimera is looking to bring on new distributors and partner with organizations to solve this post-production workflow issue.
